Arrival to Sofia. A visit to Boyana church – site of UNESCO http://www.boyanachurch.org/abouten.htm . Sightseeing of central and historical part of Sofia – the Monument of Sofia, St.Nedelya Church, the Roman Rotunda, Council of Ministers, Presidency, Bulgarian People’s Bank, National Art Galery, National Theatre “Ivan Vazov”, Russian Church, the monument to the King Liberator of Bulgaria (inaugurated in 1905) - the Russian Tsar Aleksander II, the National Assembly, Sofia University, Alexander Nevsky’s Cathedral, the church “St.Sofia” from 6 c., the Bulgarian Synod, the monument of the unknown Bulgarian soldier. Breakfast. Departure to the wonderful cave “Saevata dupka”. Seeing it. The group continues its way to town Pleven. There tourists will see “Pleven Panorama”, which shows the battle at Pleven during Russian-Turkish war 1877-1878. Lunch in a restaurant in Pleven. Departure to Veliko Tarnovo http://www.velikoturnovo.info/id-39/museums.html . Sightseeing the historical hill Tsarevets. There were the King’s Palace and the capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom 11-13 c. After that tourists will see the historical part of the town and “Samovodskata charshia” – the street with Bulgarian crafts workshops. Accommodation in a hotel 4*. Dinner in the hotel. Seeing the “Sound and Light” Show at Tsarevets Hill. Night lodging.
3 day
Breakfast. A visit of the Ethnographic complex in Open Air “Etara” http://www.etar.org/index-en.htm . After that a visit of town Triavna – a jewel among the Renaissance towns and villages in Bulgaria. Sightseeing the old part of the town and some of the museums there – Daskalova House, a museum of wood-carving with fantastic wood-carved suns on the ceilings. Here for the first time was done a bet between the old and young masters wood-carvers – who will make a better wood-carving. Both made suns for the ceiling, both suns are very different, but both of them are magnificent. Other places for seeing and museums – The Old School, Raikova House – a museum of Towns life at the beginning of 20 c., Museum of Triavna icon-painting, Captain Diado Nikola square, Clock tower and Old Bridge, P.R.Slaveykov Street and others

4 day
Breakfast. Departure to town Kazanlak, which is located in the Rose Valley. This valley is the most suitable place for cultivating Rosa Damascina. During the last ten years this valley is called also Valley of the Thracian Kings, as many Thracian tombs were discovered last years.
On their way to Kazanlak tourists will visit the magnificent Russian Church in village Shipka with its domes covered with gold http://www.tourism.kazanlak.bg/en/discover/ht-1-1.html . This church was built in honor of all Russian soldiers and officers fallen in the battles of the Shipka pass during the Russian-Turkish war 1877-1878 for the Liberation of Bulgaria. After that tourists will see the tomb of one of the greatest Thracian kings – Sevt III. Lunch in a beautiful restaurant near village Kran

Departure to Sofia. Accommodation in a hotel 3*. A little rest. Dinner in Boyana pub with folk program and fire-dancer.
